Groundnut Skin Remover Machine

1. Before using the peanut red skin peeling machine,  operator should check whether the fasteners are tightened, the rotating part is flexible, there is lubricant in every bearing, and whether the peeling machine is installed stablely. In order to ensure the safety of the operator, the motor’s casing must also be grounded.

2. Before start the power, operator should turn the peanut peeler manually a few times. If there is an impact noise, you should find out and solve the problem.

3. An appropriate sieve should be selected according to the size of the peanut kernel.

4. After the power is turned on, operator should try test run a few times and pay attention to whether the rotation direction is correct. After the motor is started, the rotor should turn in the same direction as marked on the implement. After idling for a few minutes, observe whether there are abnormal noises, and then run the peanuts quantitatively, evenly and continuously into the hopper after the operation is normal and stable.

5. There are also requirements for the dryness and wetness of peanuts, the peanuts must not be too dry or too wet. If too dry, the peanut crushing rate is high; if too wet, the shelling speed will be slower. In winter, the peanuts stored in the countryside are generally dry. In order to make them suitable for peeling, the following methods can be used: spray uniformly on 100 kg of peanuts with warm water of about 15 kg, cover with plastic film for about 10 hours, and then put them under sun for about one hour. In other seasons, it only takes about 6 hours to cover with a plastic film.

6. If there are too much red skin remains, operator should move the motor downward to tighten the fan belt and increase the amount of air blowing.

7. During the peeling process, the peanut should be fed evenly and in an appropriate amount. It is not allowed any impurity mixed in the peanut, such as iron debris, stones and other debris to prevent breaking the peanut kernels or causing mechanical accidents. Only when the peanut kernels full cover on the sieve can the outlet switch be turned on.

8. After using the groundnut skin remover machine, operator should clean the dust, dirt and residual grains on the machine, and then clean the bearings of each part with diesel oil. After drying, apply butter. After the paint is dry, cover the machine and store in a dry warehouse. The belt should be removed and hung on an indoor wall protected from the sun.
